Summer 2025

Welcome to our summer novel study camps! We are so thrilled to teach your kids how to analyze literature at a high level.

The camps run for two weeks at a time. Students will read and analyze one novel during each of the 2 weeks. Students will be given a specific number of chapters to read every day. They will answer questions, study vocabulary, and write tests. They will produce a comparative essay at the end of the 2 weeks. The students will study grammar and writing techniques, and the teacher will give feedback; the teacher will write a report for each student at the end of class. Students will be provided with a PDF version of each novel we study, or they can buy their own copies

Dates of each session:

SESSION A: July 7 - July 11 and July 14 - July 18

SESSION B: July 21 - July 25 and July 28 - August 1

SESSION C: August 4 - August 8 and August 11 - August 15

SESSION D: August 18 - August 22 and August 25 - August 29

 

Cost

$30CAD per hour per student

Each session is 9 hours, and costs $270CAD

Beginning Literature Camp for Grades 4-5-6

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 9am-10:30am (Beijing Time)

Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 6pm-7:30pm (Vancouver Time)

Intermediate Literature Camp for Grades 7-8-9

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 10:30am-12noon (Beijing Time)

Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays: 7:30pm-9pm (Vancouver Time)

Advanced Literature and Novel Camp for Grades 10-11-12

Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays: 9am-10:30am (Beijing Time)

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: 6pm-7:30pm (Vancouver Time)
